Baton Rouge, LA: Man accused of raping Baker woman gets his day in court

A Baker man is finally getting his day in court following an alleged rape and beating of a Baker woman back in September 2011.

Kendrick Jackson who is also known as “Low-Low” is before District Court Judge Bonnie Jackson. He is charged with one count of aggravated rape.

“Obviously in this case you are innocent until proven guilty,” says East Baton Rouge District Attorney Hillar Moore. Moore says however this case has a bit of a different twist. The defendant’s girlfriend turned him into police about a month after the alleged assault.
