NOPD has booked a 23-year-old Gert Town woman with 2 counts of 1st-degree murder in the deaths of her two children.

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WWL-TV) –
Reports indicate a mother confessed to killing her 3-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter after the children were found dead in a bathtub Wednesday.
According to WWL-TV, Chelsea Thornton, 23, of New Orleans was booked with two counts of first-degree murder.
The station reported investigators said Thornton admitted to shooting her son and drowning her daughter.
