Amite, LA: No injuries, 6 arrests of Kentwood youth in Amite fight unrelated to game

AMITE– Police Chief Jerry Trabona confirmed this week that contrary to popular rumor, there were no injuries reported after last Friday night’s shooting which followed the Amite vs. Independence High School football game.

Six were arrested from the Kentwood area for fighting about something unrelated to the annual Amite-Independence football rivalry.

Included in the arrests were:

–Lensie Collins, 17, Kentwood, disturbing the peace;

–Ladaisha Diamond, 17, Kentwood, criminal mischief;

–Rodney Briggs, 18, Kentwood, disturbing the peace;

–Tracey Davis, 19, Kentwood, criminal mischief;

–Dalvie Crosby, 18, Amite, criminal mischief;

–Shaquan Wilson, 17, Kentwood, criminal mischief.
