Rodney King, most famously known for the injustice he suffered at the hands (and batons) of the LAPD, has passed away. He was 47.
His fiancee found him at the bottom of his pool at his Rialto, Ca home.
The police responded to the call and tried to resuscitate in vain. He was pronounced dead around 6am PST.

King more recently appeared on “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew” and “Sober House” as he tried to get his life together while dealing with alcoholism and drug use.
Authorities say they will open an investigation.
