2nd Grader’s Art At Governor’s Mansion

ALEXANDRIA, La. – Louisiana’s First Lady Supriya Jindal announced that a painting by second-grader Emily Rhymes of J.I. Barron Elementary will be featured in the Governor’s Mansion along with 11 other students’ artwork this month.
Emily was one of the winners of the Louisiana Art Education Association’s 2011 Youth Art Month Flag Design.
The first woman says that these young artists truly bring the state to life.
