Louisiana State Police said 48-year-old William Leger, of Beaumont, died after the 2012 Jeep he was driving ran off the road at a curve on Louisiana Highway 93 in Lafayette Parish. State police say Leger overcorrected, which caused the Jeep to roll over. It came to rest in the northbound lane, where it was struck by another car.
