The suspect in a early Sunday morning stabbing in Tioga was found Thursday hiding in a barn in Vernon Parish by agents with the U.S. Marshals Violent Offender Task Force, according to a Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office release.
Rapides detectives had secured a warrant for the arrest of Raymond Terrel Dunn, 25, of Pineville, after an investigation into a stabbing first reported to authorities when a victim showed up at Huey P. Long Medical Center with a stab wound.
Witnesses had told deputies that the stabbing was self-inflicted and accidental, but an investigation revealed otherwise, according to the release.
