SLIDELL, La. —
Police in Slidell arrested 14 people in connection with a drug dealing circuit, the department announced Wednesday.
One of the people arrested in the drug bust was selling drugs using his job at a fast-food restaurant, police said.
The investigation began this month after authorities received numerous tips about heroin being dealt in the area, according to a news release from the Slidell Police Department.
After a monthlong investigation, police said they arrested 14 people on drug charges.
One of the arrested, 21-year-old James Davis, is accused of selling heroin at his job at a fast-food restaurant, police said.
The news release said Davis asked a potential buyer to drive through the rear parking lot, and he would come out to make the transaction.
