Sierra Smith was at “Build-a-Bear” at the Mall of Acadiana Yesterday, when she says she left her phone in her baby stroller for about 5 minutes.
When she came back, her phone was gone.
A few hours later, she checked her Facebook page, and photos were synced from her stolen phone. One was a photo of an unknown woman she believes stole the phone.
Sierra has filed a police report. The phone has yet to be recovered. GPS shows the phone to be located in the Lafayette area. There are personal photos on the phone of her Sierra’s newborn that were taken before the photo app that has a sync function to facebook was installed. Since the phone is worth around $500 the thief could face felony charges.
