BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — A Greenwell Springs man was arrested after he brought a BB rifle to the State Capitol yesterday, officials say.
The Louisiana State Police reports that Russell W. Vaughn, 32, carried a [rifle] to the top of the steps on Wednesday, June 19 at roughly 11:15 a.m. When security approached him, he refused to drop the weapon and eventually fled the area.
