Ahearn was charged with 29 counts of contractor fraud and misapplication of payments, one count of felony theft and one count of simple burglary.
ALEXANDRIA, La. – The Alexandria Police Department detectives have arrested 45-year-old Robert Ahearn of Boyce.
Police say Ahearn was arrested following a two-month investigation into allegations of contractor fraud, which was reported to police on Dec. 27, 2012.
According to reports, the victim reported hiring Ahearn approximately one year ago to remodel a building located in the 1900 block of Jackson Street in Alexandria. The victim says Ahearn was given several payments in advance for materials and tools.
