Some believe a couple of high school students took their school spirit too far when they showed up at a basketball game with handmade posters.
Pictures of the students holding the signs at a basketball game are circulating the Internet.
Parkview Baptist Basketball Coach, Don Green, said Friday night’s game against Patterson High School was about what he expected.
“It was electric, very loud,” Green said.
There were a couple of signs posted around the gym, meant to encourage Parkview Eagles to cheer for their team in the second round finals against the Patterson Lumberjacks.
But some believe a couple of students from Patterson High School took their school spirit a little too far by wearing T-shirts stating “I hate Parkview”. Another student held a sign that read “Jesus loves you… unless you attend Parkview Baptist.”
