MARRERO, La. (AP) – A Jefferson Parish sheriff’s deputy shot and wounded a Marrero woman who allegedly injured another deputy with her vehicle while trying to elude arrest.
The sheriff’s office says 28-year-old Christina Mores faces two counts of attempted murder of a police officer following her release from a hospital, where she was being treated for a gunshot wound to her arm.
