Goose could be released by veterinarian Monday
MANDEVILLE, La. —A viewer shared a photo of an injured goose outside Mandeville which prompts a rescue effort at a local subdivision.
Rebecca Mora posted the photo to the u local section on WDSU.com, saying “We need your help! Found this poor goose at
our pond. Can’t help but wonder if it’s kids up to no good.”
The photo showed the goose with a homemade dart in its head.
“I saw this yesterday,” Greenleaves resident Sandra Hebert said. “They come running to me every time to get the bread, and he had this dart in his head.”
