Kim Castillo, mother of five-year-old Milo, was dining with her son on Wednesday night. They did not notice the family in the adjacent booth moved, sitting elsewhere.
Castillo stated the wait staff of the restaurant is fond of Milo.
Michael Garcia was serving the family that moved. He, like Castillo, didn’t notice why until he overheard their conversation regarding Milo.
“He said, ‘Special needs children need to be special somewhere else,'” said Garcia. “That’s like saying you don’t need to be here [if] you’re a different skin color.”
Bravo good sir, bravo. The restaurant defended his decision.
