The world-famous giant yellow rubber duck has exploded in northern Taiwan. It was being shown at Keelung when it suddenly burst. Experts believe the weather was to blame. Sunshine appeared on Tuesday after days of rainy weather in Keelung, which caused temperatures to rise and pressure to increase inside the duck, which eventually led to the explosion. In order to comfort the duck fans who had gathered to see it, Keelung will display a Vietnamese duck from Saturday at the same place. The giant duck has travelled to 13 cities in nine countries and regions since 2007. Report by Mark Morris.
