Press Release – On February 16th at around 5:40 pm, the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office along with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries Enforcement Division conducted an investigation into criminal sexual conduct that occurred in the Camp Livingston area of Ball, LA.

Wildlife agents determined that sexual activity had taken place between the suspect, later identified as Jeremy Brashear, 20 of376 Williams Road, Pollock, LA and a juvenile victim.

Rapides Parish Sheriff’s deputies were called and advised of the matter. Deputies arrived on the scene and the suspect was taken into custody. RPSO detectives were also called to the scene and after further investigation, determined the suspect was a registered sex offender relating to a previous conviction in Rapides Parish.
The suspect was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center and charged with one count of (Felony) Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile.
