Slidell, La. – A Slidell woman is behind bars for allegedly embezzling more than $400,000 from her employer, according to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Police arrested 72 year-old Janice Ricks Linam who was employed for the past 28 years as a personal assistant for two sisters who resided on the south shore. The Sheriff’s Office received a complaint in December 2012 from the son of one of the sisters. Some irregularities had been discovered by the complainant in his mother’s personal finances.
