Baton Rouge is currently one of the top 10 cities in the country for human trafficking. Tigers Against Trafficking is a group of LSU students firmly committed to playing our part in the abolition of modern day slavery. Our heart is to mobilize both the student body and our local community to actively address this injustice on a global scale. Each year we have a fundraiser to raise awareness and funds in order to end human trafficking.
Tigers Against Trafficking’s 5th annual 5K run/walk will be held on March 23, beginning at 10:00 am on the LSU Parade Grounds. Registration will begin at 9:15 am. The first 300 people to register will receive a free race-day shirt.
100% of our proceeds go directly to anti-trafficking organizations both locally and abroad. Our parent organizations are The A21 Campaign (http://www.thea21campaign.org) and Trafficking Hope (http://www.traffickinghope.org).
