Multiple entities have expressed interest in taking over public hospitals in North and Central Louisiana, including Huey P. Long Medical Center in Pineville.
According to a recently released report from LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport, “multiple written indications of interest were received” from potential nonprofit or private partners. Names of the interested providers or other details were not released, and may not be until deals are struck.
