The Houma Regional Arts Council is seeking local artists to help showcase south Louisiana in “Art of the Bayou,” a new documentary.
“When we say ‘artist’ we’re looking for people in all disciplines who can show environmental and societal issues of our area,” said Andrea Dupree special-projects coordinator.
“Art of the Bayou,” a production of the Regional Arts Council, is supported by an Art Works grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, a Community Partnership grant from the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation and the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government’s Terrebonne Parish Tourism Recovery Event Sponsorship Program, which is administered through the Houma Area Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.
