The Louisiana House overwhelmingly approved a resolution urging several state agencies to investigate Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast to see if the nonprofit is in compliance with all state and federal laws as they begin construction on a $4.2 million facility in New Orleans.
House Resolution 105 By Rep. Frank Hoffmann asks the Department of Health and Hospitals, the Department of Administration, the legislative auditor, and the Office of the Inspector General to monitor Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, a women’s health care provider with facilities in Baton Rouge, New Orleans and Texas.
