SHREVEPORT LA –
Five-year-old Celeste Lowe from Bossier City was killed back in 2011. Her stepmother, Catherine Lowe, has already been convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to 25 years in jail. But Celeste’s biological mother, Jamie Mercer, says she’s not finished fighting for justice.
“I think it’s incredibly wrong that Wesley gets to walk away without any repercussions at all,” said Mercer during a phone interview. Wesley Lowe, Celeste’s father, originally faced a charge of negligent homicide. But that charge was recently dropped.
