SIMMESPORT, La. – A convicted sex offender was arrested at a Halloween party Wednesday night.
Deputies say Bryant Washington, 49, of 222 Moreau St. in Simmesport, has been an offender since 1995. He was caught handing out candy to children and helping with a haunted house on Main Street in Simmesport, according to a release from the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff’s Office Thursday.
