BREAUX BRIDGE — An F1 tornado 50 yards wide carved a swath 3 miles long through Breaux Bridge early Thursday morning, knocking down trees, ripping off roofs, and damaging about 30 homes and businesses, including the historic Cajun dancehall, La Poussiere.
