Cumberland Sheriff’s Office identify source of shooting threat at Pine Forest High School
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) — The Cumberland County Sherriff’s Office identified the source of a mass school shooting threat that spread across the internet Sunday night.
Deputies worked with law enforcement in Louisiana to identify the source of the threats against Pine Forest High School in Fayetteville.
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office first started investigating the threat of violence Saturday and worked diligently throughout the weekend to locate the 15-year-old juvenile. The investigation led them to Louisiana where the parents of the suspect live.
