I try to take time off from the news during the weekends.  I usually can’t resist.

A combined Saturday and Sunday front page will carry on until Monday mornings.

See Friday’s Front Page here.

Have a great weekend!

Feed a man a fish, feed him for a day.

Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime.

That is until the government decides that right was not given to you by the creator, decides that you must pay an appropriate amount of money that they decide is appropriate, and be allowed to feed yourself without visiting a grocery store.

Not all that money collected is used to help  in conservation efforts.  I suspect salaries take up the biggest chunk.  I know there is a need for some regulation, but the government likes to find new ways to take your money, and once they have a foothold into your pockets, they want to find ways to get deeper and deeper into your pockets to get as much of that money as possible by expanding the rules further and further.

The government wants to extend it’s reach further and further out into the ocean and tell it’s citizens what it can and can’t do.

Affordable space travel can’t come soon enough.  I sure hope there are space fish.

Proactive off-planet hunting/fishing licenses coming soon…you know, just in case.

2013 Louisiana Fishing Regs

Once upon a time you could cast nets, crab, and use bamboo poles without a license.  Once upon a time there was no such thing as a fishing license.

But not quite enough to actually use it, kind of pointless then.

Most likely your TV is very bored.
