APD arrests six as part of national sweep

Local police made several arrests in connection with the FBI-led “Operation Cross Country” sting, a three-day enforcement action to address commercial child sex trafficking in the United States.

Booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center were:
• Teisha Marie Booker, 22, of Alexandria, one count of prostitution
• Emilie Olivia Cook, 25, of Natchez, one count of prostitution
• Crystal Chere Robertson, 32, of Texarkana, Ark., one count of prostitution
• Jessica Eve Stelly, 27, of Centerpoint, one count of prostitution
• Kayla Diane Suggs, 25, of Ashtown, one count of prostitution
• Rita May Trahan, 26, of Elton, one count of prostitution
