Like many of you I can’t understand all the attention that the media has focused on the Prince of Cambridge birth. Every poll I saw on any website I visited that asked “Do you care?” – the overwhelming answer was “NO”. I avoided as much of the hype and coverage as I could. You certainly didn’t see me posting much related to this story.
Is this really all that important?
No.
That having been said, because of all the pressing and important issues in the world that we could be wringing our hands over, there is a want for a pleasant diversion.
It occurred to me after seeing the pictures of the beaming parents:
“It is no bad thing to celebrate a simple life.”
