Three people dressed in Star Wars costumes for a blood drive nearly had the force taken from them by police. The trio says a light saber they were waving caught the attention of an officer, who thought it was a weapon. The prop was put away upon the officer’s request. By the way, the blood drive goes on until 5:00 this afternoon at Tops Appliances on Johnston Street.
