Man caught at #Alexandria airport with gun in carry-on | #Louisiana

ALEXANDRIA (AP) Authorities say a 25-year-old Marksville man has been arrested after a loaded handgun was found in his backpack at Alexandria International Airport.

The Town Talk reports Rashad Mazen Hamideh was arrested Wednesday after a Rapides Parish deputy was notified about a security breach by Transportation Security Administration agents. The TSA agents told the deputy that a backpack contained a loaded handgun.
