So yeah, I am concerned. I don’t want to make myself a target of some retaliatory nature, and more – I am embarrassed to have to say this is going on in my neighborhood.
So I really don’t want to shed light on this on some levels.
And I know by the amount of police over there and number of visits they are doing what they can. { I have lost count of the fights, and police visits that I have personally seen. Who knows what all I have missed. }
And police sometimes focus on the messenger, and forget about the problem that made someone feel they needed to bring it to light. I don’t think in my case that will be so, just saying you never know. Sometimes Mayors and such don’t appreciate you bringing focus to a problem. I have no reason to believe that will happen here.
I am a news aggregate more or less. I make a little money of this website. In a years time about enough maybe a tad more to renew all the sites that I own with word press, I will probably purchase the video upgrade if I make more than what I need to renew LouisianWorld.Net and BattleOfOurTimes.Com. I may let the others go. In fact what I need is free help from people who might want exposure – who want to write an opinion piece or review every now and then – but largely just aggregating news similar to what I already do in their respective categories.
Of course we can decide on themes that you would prefer to use, with some limited controls over appearance in certain aspects.

LouisianaUniverse.com – Sciences primarily Astronomy
idontknowanditdontlikeit.com – Crime
I would consider renewing the other sites if there are interested parties.
I would like some help with BattleOfOurTimes.Com to do some of the aggregate nature, and maybe write opinion pieces. Freeing up time for to start concentrating on creating new artwork & cartoons for the site.
But what goes on outside kind of ruins the creative mood.
It’s a tad distracting.
But I have breaking news in my backyard, so aggregate be damned. When it comes to the main site.
I have a pipe dream. That there were people who said hey let’s crowd source and buy a TV station. We get the West Coast perspective, we get the East coast perspective. I would like someone to open up a CNN/Fox type 24 hour news cable network and give the SouthCoast perspective. I would like to see it right here in Central Louisiana.
I have often said, I am moving to Texas where my Father lives because of what I have to deal with on my streets.
If I leave, they have won. If everybody leaves that cares, then nothing will change. What I need is more like minded folks to move here and help me change the culture of this neighborhood and community.
