Raw Aerial Video: Chemical Plant Explosion in #Geismar #Louisiana June 13 2013

There has been a report of a chemical plant explosion in Geismar, La., on Route 30 near Baton Rouge.

Reports say the explosion — called major — was at the Williams Olefins plant. The Geismar Williams Olefins plant produces approximately 1.3 billion pounds of ethylene and 90 million pounds of polymer grade propylene each year, the company’s website says.
