Police: Intoxicated passengers allow 10-year-old to drive | #Kenner #Louisiana

KENNER, La. — Police arrested two intoxicated women who allowed a 10-year-old child to drive a vehicle on the Interstate-10 Wednesday, according to Sgt. Brian McGreggor, a Kenner Police spokesman.

According to a Kenner police department news release, Brenda Byrd and Sheila Joiner, both of Kenner, were found intoxicated in a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe after authorities received calls reporting a slow-moving vehicle swerving in and out of the travel lane on the Interstate-10 West in Kenner.
