The father of a missing teenage beauty queen claims that she was abused by her stepfather and was planning to ‘tell’ of his behaviour.
Sidney Nicole Randal, 14, was last seen at her Arkansas home on March 4 after going missing in the middle of the night.
Her stepfather John Cornell, who was named as the main suspect in her disappearance, was found dead in an apparent suicide two days later.

Search to resume Tuesday for Amber Alert teen

WALNUT RIDGE (KATV, KAIT) –

Arkansas State Police issued a Morgan Nick Amber Alert Monday afternoon for a missing 14-year-old not seen since Saturday night.
Sidney Nicole Randall was last seen around 10:00 p.m. wearing a brown Aeropostale jacket. She is described as 5’04” weighing 85 pounds with green eyes and brown hair slightly longer than shoulder length.
The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office told our ABC station in Jonesboro, KAIT, that Sidney’s stepfather, John Cornell, was found dead Monday afternoon on a farm road just outside Walnut Ridge. He had a gunshot wound but investigators would not specify if it was self-inflicted.

Investigators believe Sidney was taken from her home by her stepfather, John Cornell. He was the only suspect in the case then on Monday, investigators found his body on a rural road near his pickup truck. He was killed by a gun and detectives believe he shot himself but, as of early Tuesday evening, couldn’t say for sure.
