Nan Salisbury of Monroe, whose name was synonymous with the Girl Scouts in northeastern Louisiana, died Wednesday morning following a battle with cancer. She was 88.
Friends said Salisbury’s effervescent spirit empowered children and adults.
Salisbury was both a volunteer and retired executive director of the former Silver Waters Girl Scouts Council.
