Alexandria, LA: RPSO Shuts Down 2nd Meth Lab Operation

Detectives then conducted a knock and talk investigation at the home, located at 1503 Plantation Drive in Alexandria. Detectives found six separate “cooks” that occurred on the property. All were the familiar “One Pot Method” of manufacturing methamphetamine. Haz-Mat personnel from the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene to neutralize the lab components. Belgard’s back yard borders a nearby daycare center where detectives previously conducted surveillance on the residence.
