Baton Rouge, LA: 2-Year-Old Dead After Being Shot By 18-Year-Old Felon Playing With Handgun

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) –

Authorities said a 2-year-old is dead after getting shot Monday evening by a teenager who was playing with a gun.

The victim was identified as Travin Varise.

The Baton Rouge Police Department said Terrance Varise, 18, of Baton Rouge was booked into the parish prison on charges of negligent homicide, cruelty to a juvenile and felon in possession of a firearm.
