MOREHOUSE PARISH, La. (KNOE 8 News) – Investigators in Morehouse Parish are looking for some answers tonight after finding a body off of Swan Lake Road in the southern part of the Parish.
Morehouse Parish Sheriff, Mike Tubbs, says “it’s mostly a farm area a lot of deer and duck hunting goes on in this area so it is some what isolated.”
Sheriff Tubbs says the female body was partially hidden in the ditch.
He says, “we contacted the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office for assistance for our crime scene unit to help us gather and collect evidence here off of Swan Lake Road once we get an identity of the body we’ll certainly be able to further this investigation.”
