Alexandria teen facing cruelty, attempted battery charges

An Alexandria teen is facing charges after Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded Tuesday to a disturbance on Debbie Street, according to a report.
Leroy Herron Jr., 17, of 1410 Debbie St., was arrested and charged with cruelty to a juvenile and attempted aggravated battery, according to the release.
