Police Capture Neighborhood Burglar, 25th Booking

On New Year’s Eve, Alexandria police responded to a report of a residential burglary in progress in the 2800 block of Hill Street. While investigating the first complaint, police received additional complaints of a burglary and attempted burglary in the same area.

After witnesses described a suspect officers discovered him in the area of City Park. Officers arrested 26-year-old Anthony Ferrell of Alexandria.

This was Ferrell’s 25th booking into the Rapides Parish Jail and at the time of this arrest, Ferrell was on bond for a December 22nd arrest for Felony Drugs.

He’s only 26,  that’s almost an arrest a year.
