How many of you are even aware of this story? We Conservatives think we have it hard, imagine being a Libertarian scorned and vilified almost continually by both Democrats and Republicans. Most of the media ignored this story entirely. Any story related to Ron Paul sends Liberals and Conservatives fleeing. This was a story that should have made national news no matter your politics.

Did you know she is out of the hospital now? Probably not. Once it was determined that she did this to herself the media pretty much lost interest in the story.

I combine these two stories simply because a lot of people still get these two young ladies confused and often think it is one person, one story. Jaren Lockhart’s body was found during the time that Mickey Shunick was being heavily reported as missing. Many people I talk to still think it was Mickey’s body that washed up on shore. They will have both stories completely intertwined. Mickey was not found some 3 months later. Jaren was a dancer, Mickey was a student. They were both daughters and missed by loved ones.
