Of course supporters would support her. I went to the man’s FB page. He claims to have dementia, he also claims he was raised by a black woman. I think it is more about how she handled the situation than it is about defending herself against perceived racism that got her fired. He referred to her as black, he didn’t like her hair because it was so short – that he likes a woman to have more hair. If anything you could say it was sexist. He also mentioned she was a nice lady. She got bent out of shape simply because he mentioned that she was black. I wonder if he still thinks she’s nice? I get called white boy, white dude…white this or that by my black neighbors. Why do they feel the need to put white in every description they use of me? I don’t get bent out of shape over it, because I know it isn’t something they mean derogatorily – some of them are my friends. I do not think this man is a racist. But I am just an average guy, what do I know?
