A 45-year-old Pineville man has been charged with assaulting a police officer who was trying to arrest the man on charges of harassing a former girlfriend.Keith Shane McClain was charged Friday with making threatening phone calls to the woman, battery, resisting an officer and two drug counts, according to the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office.
