Emergency officials search canal for submerged car

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) –

Authorities are trying to find a car that reportedly went off a roadway and into a canal Monday afternoon.

The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office said the St. George Fire Department called in the accident.

Deputies, firemen and EMS personnel are on the scene trying to find the vehicle.
