Suspect in killing hangs himself in prison cell

ANGOLA, La. (AP) – Authorities say a man suspected of killing a co-worker after walking away from a work-release program hanged himself in his cell at the Louisiana State Penitentiary.    West Feliciana Parish Sheriff J. Austin Daniel says 26-year-old Dustin Pleasant used a blanket to hang himself Friday. Pleasant was accused of murdering Brittany Grosse, a co-worker at Big Daddy’s Sports Grill, on Nov. 30 after he walked away from a Calcasieu Parish work-release program near Lake Charles.
