Body of missing robbery victim found by fishermen in Rocky Canal | WVLA NBC33 | Baton Rouge News, Weather and Sports

ASSUMPTION PARISH, LA (NBC33) — The body of a man who was shot during a robbery was found partially submerged in a canal.

The Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that the body of Tony Rodriguez, Jr., 23, was located on Wednesday, Dec. 5 shortly before 5:00 p.m. We’re told fishermen made the discovery in the Rocky Canal located on Myles Road in Iberville Parish.
