Courtesy of The New York Times, we bring you a bit of an inspiring story this holiday season. 25-year-old NYPD officer Lawrence DePrimo felt that even though he had two pairs of socks on, it was still quite cold in Times Square while on duty — so much that he lended a hand to a homeless person by gifting him a pair of boots after noticing extreme cold-blisters on both of his feet.
