If your aware of the latest on Simon Cowell, then you’ve probably heard the term ‘Swatting’ which is apparently something coined by some bafoon in America who thought it was cool to hoax police into wasting funds all in the name of a laugh. According to NEWSER, Cowell was the latest victim of swatting this week when authorities showed up to his house, after a caller claimed that a woman was being held hostage in the bathroom.
No word on whether or not Cowell’s seeking charges against the hoaxster.
