Arkansas had pulled upsets of LSU in the past but it wasn’t in the cards for the Hogs in 2012.
The Hogs bid to tie the game on the final drive fell short when Tyler Wilson’s pass with six seconds left sailed out of the end zone as time expired allowing LSU to escape with a 20-13 win.
Wilson finished his Arkansas career throwing for 359 yards while adding 38 more on the ground, including a 28 yard touchdown pass to Mekale McKay in the third quarter.
LSU looked as if they were pulling away as it took a 17-3 lead with 9:03 left in the third quarter but Arkansas continued to hang around.
